Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

Aestie is a consumer platform for discovering, sharing, and evaluating medical aesthetic outcomes in the United States. We are not a medical provider, healthcare company, or referral service. Content on Aestie is user-generated and for informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Aestie. By using the Platform, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Aestie is currently available to users in the United States.

3. Your Account

Registration

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. Aestie does not require your real name to register — accounts are pseudonymous by design.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@aestie.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

One Account Per Person

You may not create more than one account, use another person's account, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent.

4. Platform Access and Tiers

Aestie offers tiered access based on contribution, verification, and subscription:

• Public (unauthenticated): Limited preview access to platform content.
• Member: Full access unlocked through structured contribution, referral reputation, or subscription payment.
• Trusted Contributor: Enhanced access and visibility earned through high-quality, verified, longitudinal contributions.

Aestie reserves the right to modify access tiers, features, and eligibility criteria at any time. Access tier changes that materially reduce your existing access will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

5. User Content

Your Contributions

You may submit reviews, before/after photos, procedure details, provider attributions, recovery timelines, ratings, comments, and other content (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content.

License to Aestie

By submitting User Content, you grant Aestie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, perpetual license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and create derivative works from your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Platform, and for inclusion in anonymized and aggregated datasets.

Content Permanence

Contributions submitted to Aestie — including reviews, journey posts, before/after photos, and ratings — are permanent and are not individually editable or removable after posting. This is a core part of how the platform works: the integrity of Aestie's outcomes database depends on content remaining visible and unaltered. Please review your submissions carefully before posting.If you delete your account, your personal account information and uploaded photos will be removed. Written reviews and other contributions may remain in anonymized form and will no longer be associated with your account.

Accuracy and Authenticity

You represent that:

• Your contributions reflect your genuine, firsthand experience
• Before/after photos and supporting materials are authentic and unaltered beyond standard editing
• Any verification materials you submit (receipts, appointment confirmations) are real and belong to you
• You have not been paid or otherwise compensated by a provider to post positive content, unless clearly disclosed

Aestie does not independently verify every submission but reserves the right to remove content that appears fraudulent, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.

Content You Do Not Own

Do not submit content that includes photos, text, or materials you do not have the right to share. Do not submit identifiable images of other people without their explicit consent. Posting photos of others without their explicit consent is a serious violation of these Terms and will result in immediate permanent account termination.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fabricated reviews or journey content
• Submit content on behalf of a provider, brand, or third party without clear disclosure
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or providers
• Use the Platform to solicit clients, promote services, or conduct commercial activity without authorization
• Attempt to manipulate provider rankings, ratings, or visibility
• Circumvent or tamper with access controls, verification systems, or the credit system
• Scrape, crawl, or extract Platform data through automated means without our written permission
• Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable law

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

7. Provider Content and Profiles

Provider profiles on Aestie are populated in part by user-submitted content and are not controlled by providers. Providers cannot pay to alter, suppress, or remove authentic user reviews. Provider presence on Aestie does not constitute an endorsement by Aestie. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before selecting any provider.

8. Credits and Rewards

Aestie's credit system rewards high-quality, verified contributions. Credits are not currency, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for money. Aestie may modify, suspend, or discontinue the credit system at any time. Credits earned in good faith will not be retroactively revoked without cause.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid Tiers

Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and plan details are described at the point of purchase and may be updated from time to time.

Billing

By subscribing, you authorize Aestie to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable rate. All fees are in USD and are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in our refund policy.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features through the end of that period.

Price Changes

We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price changes. Continued use of a paid subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new rate.

10. Not Medical Advice

Aestie is not a medical platform. Content on Aestie — including reviews, before/after photos, recovery timelines, and provider profiles — is user-generated and for informational purposes only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified, licensed medical professional before making any decision about a cosmetic or medical aesthetic procedure. Aestie is not responsible for any decisions made based on content found on the Platform.

11. Intellectual Property

All Platform design, software, branding, and non-user-generated content is owned by Aestie and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Aestie's proprietary content without express written permission.

12. Third-Party Services

The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, tools, or services. Aestie does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

13. Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

By Aestie

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the Platform or other users. Where possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to address the issue before terminating.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ends. Your account and associated private data will be removed. Contributions you submitted will remain on the Platform in anonymized form as part of the outcomes dataset, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” AESTIE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PLATFORM'S RELIABILITY, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AESTIE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DECISIONS MADE BASED ON PLATFORM CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO AESTIE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aestie and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court — except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
